I recently checked out Ramen Mob in Taipan, and it's definitely a spot you need to add to your list! Walking in, the first thing that hits you is the nice ambiance—it's sleek, modern, and has a cool, inviting feel that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. But let's talk about the main event: the food. It was, simply put, great! I tried what looks like their rich, creamy signature ramen, topped with a gorgeous, thick slice of chashu (braised pork belly) that practically melts in your mouth, along with some perfectly cooked wood ear mushrooms (kikurage) and scallions. The broth was packed with flavor, and the noodles had just the right bounce. I also couldn't resist grabbing some gyoza on the side. They were served beautifully with a side of mustard, crispy on the outside and savory on the inside—the perfect crunchy accompaniment to the main bowl. Looking at the menu (especially the Truffle Series!), there are so many unique options like the Truffle Carbonara Mazesoba and Truffle Chasu Ramen, which I'll absolutely have to come back for.
